1) They will take longer-
If the size, shape or even details deviate from my listed design at all, I will have to make a new pattern, which I am happy to do. But this takes time. Designing is a process, and I want to do it right. Behind the scenes, I may have to make the bags 2 or 3 times to get it right and have it ready to pass on to you.

2) There may be additional costs- If I have to add to the size of the item, each small adjustment means more time, more leather, more thread, more interfacing, maybe even more hardware. I will be upfront with you about additional costs before you buy.

Let me explain :)
I put a lot of thought and time into the products that I put my name on. When I do a custom order, people might see it and ask where it came from. If it has a completely different aesthetic than any of my current designs, I may be steering buyers who are looking for a product that isn't truly "Gathered and Sown" . Which brings me to....

4) I will not copy another artists design. This is a biggie....
I am happy to look at pictures to serve as inspiration, or to help me understand what size/look you are going for. But I know what another artist puts into their work, and I don't want to take that away from them.

There was no instruction on how to use them on the bag I bought which is a different model from the picture shown here but I figured out a way to use it. I wish the straps have a few more holes in them to accommodate umbrellas of different sizes.

Initially did not receive the item, but the seller has now sent me two of them so I can put the umbrella holders on two of my messenger bags. They match perfectly, and I will update with pictures when I add them to my bags. Love the quality of all of their products.

Upgrade umbrella holder- ALDESAKA

I added the umbrella holder to my messenger bag. The quality is very nice and the extra straps hold my umbrella. At the time, I did not realize the umbrella holder will be placed on the back of the bag, rather than in front. It turned out, that this add on was originally designed for a bag with top handle not with shoulder strap. While carrying the bag with an umbrella, it still feels okay. This said, the umbrella holder does its job well, and it is more my fault I had other expectations.
