DESCRIPTION
Hand-dyed over multiple days and stitched using the highest quality materials available, the Original Cotton Rope Dog Collar and features a genuine leather adjustable strap and solid brass hardware.  Our Original Cotton Series leashes are spliced and stitched to withstand pulling, tugging and chewing. Fixed on the end is a solid brass trigger snap designed to help keep your pup safe and untangled. We finish each Original Cotton Rope Dog Leash with a single brass O-ring to hang accessories such as poop bags, key chains, or flashlights. 

SIZING AND FIT
Please measure your dog's neck according to our size guide below to make sure you've got the right fit!

Note: Handmade products are all unique and may vary slightly in terms of color from what is shown. Lighter cotton collars and leashes will pick up dust and dirt but can be cleaned following the collar care instructions.

DOG COLLAR MEASUREMENT (Handmade rope collars can vary +/- 1" so please provide neck circumference in notes)

Using a soft tape, measure around your dog’s neck where their collar naturally sits. Pull the tape until it is snug but not tight. Two fingers should fit between the collar and the dog's neck. Compare this measurement to your dog’s current collar to verify accuracy. Record your measurement.

Determine the appropriate size of collar for your dog based on the size chart above. For example, if your dog’s neck measurement was 15" (with two fingers underneath) you would order a size large collar based on the length of 14"-16". Be sure to check the size chart for the appropriate collar as some collars run smaller than others.

X-SMALL - 8 1⁄2-10 1⁄2 5/16" (rope width) - comes with 5/16" rope leash
SMALL - 10 1⁄2-13 1⁄2 5/16" (rope width) - comes with 5/16" rope leash
MEDIUM - 12-15 3/8" (rope width) - comes with 1/2" rope leash
LARGE - 16-19 3/8" (rope width) - comes with 1/2" rope leash
X-LARGE - 18-22 1/2" (rope width) - comes with 1/2" rope leash

CARE AND MATERIALS
Our Original Cotton Series dog collars and leashes are made with 100% cotton rope and can be hand washed with mild soap and water and line dried. Brass hardware can be cleaned and shined with mild soap and water or a combination of lemon juice and baking soda. Leather can be spot cleaned with mild soap and softened with olive oil.
